A post from Musselman High School in Inwood, West Virginia, identified one of the National Guard troops critically injured in an ambush attack on Wednesday as Andrew Wolfe. Two Guardsmen were attacked by a gunman while on patrol near the White House. Both of them were shot in the head in a targeted attack.
"Our Applemen community is deeply saddened to learn that Musselman High School alumnus, Andrew Wolfe, was one of the National Guardsmen injured in the shooting in Washington, D.C. today," read a post on the Musselman High School Facebook page.
"Andrew is currently in critical condition and undergoing surgery. Please keep Andrew, his family, and all those affected in your thoughts. We will share updates as we receive them. Once an Applemen, Always an Applemen"
Governor Patrick Morrissey addressed the attack, saying "This was an act of unspeakable violence. Our hearts, our thoughts, our prayers, go out to the brave service members who are enduring this terrible tragedy."
"We’re going to work hard. With West Virginia, I know the state stands behind the Guard. I know the president, who I just spoke to, stands behind these courageous service members and our state to get through these difficult times. Just know, we’re going to keep working to make sure justice is served," he said.
In a press briefing, Metro PD spokesperson Jeffrey Carroll said "The suspect came around the corner; he immediately started firing at the two National Guard members. At that time, there were other National Guard members in the area who were in the area. They heard the gunfire. They actually were able to intervene and to kind of hold down the suspect after he had been shot, on the ground, until law enforcement was able to get there."
The suspect was later identified as Afghan National Rahmanullah Lakanwal, 29, who came to the US in 2021 under President Joe Biden's Operation Allies Welcome following his disastrous withdrawal of US troops from Afghanistan.
The shooting is being investigated as a terror attack and President Donald Trump has suspended processing for all Afghan immigration cases. Under the Biden administration, these cases were prioritized following the Abbey Gate bombing, which saw 13 US service members killed in Afghanistan.

I’m so thankful the initial reports were wrong and the two guardsmen are still alive.

Afghan National, born in 1996, armed with a revolver ambushed a female guardsman, shooting her in the head, and a male guardsman, shot multiple times. They never saw it coming. Both guardsmen were armed.
A Major in the National Guard, who was unarmed and doing his spot checks of the guardsmen was in the block, heard the shots and turned to see the shooter who spotted him. He took cover behind a truck.
The suspect came for the Major who pulled out his pocket knife, and bravely took on the suspect who was reloading his revolver.
The Major began stabbing the suspect in the head.
Another guardsman in the area who was armed, them drew his pistol and shot the suspect twice, once in the leg and once in the buttocks.
The Major stated that when the suspect began shooting he heard him shout, Allahu akbar!”

There’s more: we trying to confirm if the suspect, an Afghan national was an interpreter brought over by Biden, because he has a Department of Defense record. Again, we are trying to confirm.
The suspect has a home address in Washington State.

He shot him in the ass! I’d say that was not only a hit but an insult as well.
Both of them are responsible. Then again, is Biden? Not defending that clown but none of the geniuses running the country when it started was bright enough in their planning to account for a Dem President Autopen at some point. This is an f’n disaster and two of our military and their families in WV posted just 100 miles from home, obviously besides all of the other heroes who were 1000’s of miles away over there, have had their holidays and lives destroyed because of a war that Uniparty stupidity caused. And it’s not over yet by a long shot.
Biden should have NEVER pulled out of Suckistan. When he did he left millions of dollars of our army equipment over there. Innocent people who did help us died or will die.
Then he brought this and other morons over here. He should have left them over there because these people can’t live in our world. They need to stay in theirs and make it better.
I think it was is a good decision. These guardsmen are demonstrating that they’re well trained and disciplined. This doesn’t seem to be a ‘kill shot’ situation to me. We want him alive so we can waterboard him to find out who activated him. In different parlance, we want to find out his motivations, was he inspired to this action by the seditious six, who’s he been in contact with. Lets do a drill down. Can’t do that when he’s dancing with virgins in hell. Let’s pray he survives so we can pump him for information and find out his networks. Shooting him in the butt was a smart decision.

From the pic it looks like the goatherd’s ass was his largest target.
The ID picture looks very different from the guy on the gurney. My suspicion is the actual soldier was killed, and a jihadi took his place, for a substantial fee either paid up front, or over time from working in the US, to the relatives of the dead hero who vouched for him. Maybe the jihadi just wasn’t up to working as an Uber driver. Many emigrants aren’t the richest, but perhaps above average back home, albeit on incomes at which a US McDonald’s short order cook would scoff.
Getting shot in the ass is very painful, and there is no way to get comfortable for quite a long time. Laying down doesn’t help, even on your stomach. Sleep is difficult, so sleep depravation comes into play and that slows down healing. Forget about walking too. If I was the one who shot him, I would have shot his ass several times. Good thing they didn’t kill him. Interrogate him relentlessly, then kill him.

I’d say the big difference is the guy on the gurney’s face is bloated. If that is him he’s really gained weight since living here since 2022.
He may not be “rich” but he has eaten well.
