Fox News host Laura Ingraham has warned Republicans that U.S. Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York—also known by her initials, AOC—is “building the most powerful political operation we’ve seen since Obama,” referring to the former Democratic President Barack Obama.
In a post on X, Ingraham wrote that the 36-year-old congresswoman for New York’s 14th congressional district “is positioning herself to run for president in 2028.”
To support her statement, the journalist, author and host shared a video of Ocasio-Cortez talking about her campaign raising enough money to donate 1,600 turkeys for families in the Bronx this Thanksgiving.

In the old days, AOC would have been too young, too inexperienced, and too outside the Establishment in her politics.
Obama broke ground; he had little political experience. Trump broke more ground; he had no political experience. And both of them appealed to people outside the Establishment Center, Trump even more so than Obama.
Now, anything's possible.
People can laugh and ridicule her at their own risk, how many so-called political pundits laughed and ridiculed Donald Trump when rode down the escalator ??
My point, never underestimate your opponent, especially someone who can attract a crowd and create excitement, she is dumb and has insane ideas, but I would not underestimate her abilities on the campaign trail.
Vote for Sandy and all your wildest dreams will come true.
AOC is a cogent idiot that will say incredible dumb, provable false things. But, unless the election is secured by vote ID and paper ballots, she also may "win".

The Democrats almost pulled it off with Hillary nearly a decade ago. At least she was intelligent. And she "appeared" to be competent. You can't really say that about AOC or Kamala.

Just a couple of counter points, Obama was elected POTUS, Joe Biden despite suffering from dementia and campaigned from his basement became POTUS, and a Communist was just elected Mayor of NYC.
If the economy tanks before 2028 and the Republicans are offering nothing in terms of making things more affordable, then all bets are off.
AOC is a mensa candidate compared to Kamala, AOC is a true believer, it’s easier to espouse crazy ideas when you actually believe the ideas.
Don’t take her lightly. Yes, she is an idiot. However the young people love her and are showing they can get nasty to get their way. Traditional campaigning is out the window.
I hope the Repubs end the filibuster now and ram through Trump's agenda, including whatever can be instituted to seriously curtail vote fraud and foreign campaign contributions.
Let's face it: If the Scumocrats capture the Federal Government again, (and they will at some point), they will end the filibuster and gut what's left of traditional America.
