I am just puzzled how he got girls as young as 14. Where were their parents? Were they runaways?
I don’t have as much sympathy for the 17 and 18 year old girls. They had to know what was up when they were recruited to go on fancy planes, boats, get wined and dine, and visit private islands.
He would get high school girls from West Palm Beach to come over and give him a massage. Then ask them to give him more than a massage. If they didn’t want to he would offer them a finders fee to recruit their friends.
Basically turning them into pimps/traffickers of their own classmates. Gislaine was typically the original contact with them.
He lived on the RICH side of the Intercoastal.

The Palm Beach police had interviewed dozens of teenagers.
When they eventually charged him with rape.
He was convicted of statutory rape of a minor.
This is also where the flight logs came from.
His pilot had to supply them and testified in court.
You might be surprised at the number of runaways.
And this happens in every city in every state. Epstein created a "high class call girl" system. Wonder how many more were in DC over the years.
In an interview posted on youtube, one victim talked about being recruited right outside the entry to her school, not far from Epstein’s residence — so she wasn’t gone for any extended period of time. The victims mostly seem to have been from financially-struggling, single mother households. My guess is the parent didn’t know at all, or the daughter gave mom a story about an after-school job.
Good question. Sometimes, even the good parents don't know everything their children do. Many kids live in their own secret world, and they don't tell their parents much about it. At 13, some other girls and I suspected one girl was being abused by an old man. One night, we followed her to his car and blocked it until she got out. Yet, none of us ever thought to tell our parents. I wish I could travel back in time and tell an adult. But, in our secret world, we kids followed a code of silence.
