In today’s world pointing out a lie is recorded or seen live on social media, TV, radio etc. Easy and obvious to prove.
Any politician lying to the public should be banned for life. Congress even passed a law where it’s ok for them to lie to the public if they’re in Congress.... think about that. They gave themselves immunity.
You stated: Under such a system Trump would not be president today and the J6 people would be in jail for life. No Republican would ever hold office again.
So in your mind every one of them is lying. Pretty sad.
In today's world politician get to decide what the facts are and on any given day those facts can change.
