They are not cute at all.
They are brutal and dangerous.
Soon, these wildlife photographs/videos out in the Arctic will be taken by very smart drones with AI.

It has already started with relatively dumb drones.
The cameras available on drones are incredible compared to what was available only 20 years ago.

“I didn’t know polar bears could lurk.”
Most definitely.

Canadian F-18s were equipped with a folding stock short barrel Ruger M-77 iron sight bolt rifle in 30-06. If a plane goes down up there far north, every polar bear within 20 miles notices and just starts walking towards the site. It’s a race between rescue helicopters, and a polar bear patiently walking towards his prey.
Another charming polar bear behavior is if they find a hole in the ice, they just lay there and patiently wait, knowing that eventually something will pop up out of that hole. They do the same thing with scientific sites. They are absolutely certain that they are full of people, and occasionally people come out. They will wait as long as it takes for that moment. It’s pretty terrifying.

Provided the bear did not eat the camera, they should know soon.

Gruesome.
This line made me chuckle, however...

His mother said her son’s death could have been avoided if precautions, like fencing, were installed by the company that operated the outpost, Nasittuq.Gearing up for a lawsuit?

Polar bears are now four times the population since they first started keeping track in 68. They should open a season up.

“This is impossible. All of the polar bears are extinct.”
I thought that they were afloat on icebergs.

Techs on sites such as this are usually forbidden to carry guns or bear spray.Another victory for gun control.

Dumbass been watching too many YouTube videos of polar bears acting all cutesy and whatnot. Yo, dumbass! Those videos are AI! They are doing that with a bunch of other dangerous animals like mountain lions, wolves and even black bears.
Yes, black bears can and will kill you.
People are going to get hurt, at the least, because they think nature is friendly and cuddly.
Adults should know better but it is going to happen to kids.
And that is unacceptable.

Exactly so. Based on the false idea of “more guns = more problems”.
Guns are often tools used to solve problems.
