The International Olympic Committee (IOC) will enact a new policy that will prohibit transgender female athletes from competing against biological women, according to multiple reports. The policy is reportedly set to cover those with differences of sex development (DSD).
The IOC’s current policy leaves it up to each individual sport’s governing body to make policies governing transgender athletes. But as the IOC changed its leadership, The Times of London reported on Monday that its policies are set to change as well.
IOC President Kirsty Coventry called for "protecting" the women’s category in June and there was "overwhelming support" from IOC members to do the same.

"Thornton’s presentation reportedly showed there were physical advantages in males, including those who took treatments to reduce testosterone levels. A source told the paper that the presentation was "very scientific" and unemotional."

No.....you don't say.....really??? SMH
I guess they watched the video of the beating that poor lady boxer got.
How long before the libs call for an Olympic ban over this?
The great irony is that no one ever has to talk about banning women from men’s sports, because the phenomenon simply doesn’t exist.
Who cares what they call for?
About time. “Transgender Female” There is no such damn thing! Either you are XX or XY, and that’s the fact Jack!
Make a trans category if it’s so all fired important.
And then watch the trans athlete category fade into nothingness.
Make a trans category if it’s so all fired important.
And then watch the trans athlete category fade into nothingness.
Those guys don’t want to compete against other men to whom they could lose. They want to win, win, win and the only way they can do it is by cheating.
I’m surprised. I wouldn’t have been surprised if they allowed them. And I wouldn’t have watched any Olympic coverage whatsoever.
Whew. I misread that and thought that AOC banned them.
“Make a trans category if it’s so all fired important.”

Oh we can’t have that, it would actually solve the problem.
They don’t want it solved, they want to ruin it for everyone.
Let’em do what they want. I watch the Olympics about as much as I watch pro sports.
“Make a trans category if it’s so all fired important.
And then watch the trans athlete category fade into nothingness.”
That’s very reasonable. Until you factor in why the trans”women” are pretending to be women. They want to be considered women. Your solution takes the crazy out of the equation when the crazy is they entire reason for the situation.
This should have happened a long time ago.
Medals awarded to the past cheaters should be stripped with the awards
retro'd to the real women winners.
I guess the scenes of women being beaten bloody by trans-men didn’t generate the good publicity they hoped for.
LET THE WAILING AND GNASHING OF TEETH BEGIN!!!!!!!..............
Then she gets beat by a DUDE pretending to be a girl.
The biological fact is that MEN are better at almost every physical thing other than having a baby. Even the best women athletes are no match for mediocre men in the same sport. For example, Mikaela Shiffrin is the BEST WOMAN SKIER EVER. She has more World Cup wins than any other skier either male or female. Yet, she probably would lose to some male skier in a head to head race ranked number 125 in the world that nobody has ever heard of.
It sounds like bloom is off the trans rose.
This should have happened a long time ago.
Like with the East German swimmers.
