KEWANEE, Ill. (KWQC) - Three women have been charged after police say there was an argument over the price of a pizza late Wednesday morning.
Nakeita Simpson, 33, of Elgin was arguing with Cenex gas station workers after the price of a pizza was a dollar more than what she had thought, according to Kewanee police.
When police arrived, they offered to pay the $1 to end the argument, but that didn’t work, police said.
The arguing continued and was joined by two women, Kianna Simpson, 27, and Diamond Lockhart, 18, both of Kewanee, police said.
The Cenex employees told police they wanted the women to leave, and while officers were walking them out, Nakeita pulled down a merchandise display near the entrance, breaking several items.
Police said they tried to place Nakeita under arrest, but she resisted, and all three women became combative and resisted arrest.
All three women were arrested and taken to the Henry County Jail, police said.
The three are each charged with:
Felony aggravated battery to a police officer
Obstructing a peace officer
Resisting a peace officer
Nakeita has an additional charge of criminal damage to property under $500, police said.

I hope you’re happy... Your post just made me spit water all over the dashboard of my patrol car!! (It’s okay though... I have paper towels and it needed cleaning anyway. It was dusty. LOL!)
Thanks for the song link. Never heard it, I believe.
Here’s one from the now notorious place Minneapolis.
“Minneapolis-St.Paul” by the Limeliters.
Man who loves two women should keep them apart.
One wife “invited the other for tea and both of their husbands turned out to be me.”
