So can anyone point out the existing GOP Healthcare plans? I saw a report from Trump's intercircle saying Trump has no real interest in a fundamental Healthcare plan as it steps on too many toes of this wealthy friends. Trump dabbles around the edges but nothing concrete.

Govt has screwed up the health care industry. The best plan is to get the government out of the health business. Let the market dictate.

So, you believe his “wealthy friends” outweigh his concern for the rest of the citizens he serves?

So point out the GOP plan? Or does it go like “Let them eat cake”?
To: Magnum44
Yes that is correct but the horse is already out of the barn now...

Name one thing that both the gov’t and the private sector produce where the gov’t does it better? The gov’t has no reason to be in the insurance business. They have no incentive to be efficient, which is why we have $600 hammers and $900 toilet seats in gov’t projects.

Before there can be affordable health care, lawyers must be prevented from suing doctors and hospitals et al
Greedy lawers in general are the most significant burden on the American health care system.

The correct solution remains. There is no good govt solution.

Unless someone proposes a plan, Thune should agree to an one year extension of aca subsidies in order to end the government shutdown.
To: econjack
Well the GOP could remove all these regulations and rules for starters...Get the legal BS out of the system...
To: MinorityRepublican
Really? So what happens next year when the dems shut the government down again right before the election?

Stop with your TDS nonsense, petty. If you would actually do a little, easy research ... rather than allowing your panties to twist off your circulation, you would find out the following ...

In the blue part of Ohio, people think they were given something of value in Obamacare. I know some that use it and like it. The equation is simple: Do you use it? Do you like it?
The GOP has long promised repeal and replace. The GOP has done what it usually does, nothing. It’s my opinion that this will cost at the ballot box.

Your TDS aside, premiums were affordable and the miracle of insurance worked before government takeover of the health care insurance industry in 2010-11. Basically, all the FReeper prophesies from that time came true.

When we have a bad hand in poker, we have no choice but to fold. Perhaps eventual reforms will be possible when JD becomes President. But not now.
There are other things to focus on.
