Mamdani only got just over 50% of the vote in very deep blue New York City.
Its like Trump getting 50 % in Alabama.
That would be pathetic as is Mamdani’s 50%.

If you ad in votes for Cuomo, you get a lot more than 50%.

50% in a three-way race with another Democrat on the ballot is an epic landslide.

AND only about a million people voted so he got 50% of 1/7th of the votes. Of course not all the people were eligible to vote but still... NYC mostly stayed home and let their city be taken over by a jihadist. Shame on them, so stay in your city and don’t complain when you see your city go to hell. Voting is a right and a privilege. You should always exercise it. If you don’t... elections have consequences.

correct - recent winners of the NYC mayoral race (Adams, De Blasio) have gotten no less than 65% of the total vote.
51% is quite lackluster for the winner.

Why do I fell like Republicans were played? The margins were way to big for the Dems in my opinion. I feelmlike they used the “No Kings Rallies” as a get out the vote effort. Is it possible to have early voting ballots handed out at such events?
