Some Monroe Doctrine action about to happen? Probably involving VZ?
Communist nations are bad neighbors.
I definitely think VZ and maybe even Cuba since they are commies and closely tied to China.
My first thought is airlifting supplies for hurricane victims in Jamaica
First news comes from a travel agency?
You don’t put out NOTAMs to get ready for war....
It is about 600 miles straight shot over water from Puerto Rico into Venezuela.
I’m guessing an AI generated article. It has all the trademarks of articles being posted in Farcebook which keep repeating themselves throughout the article with slight variation in next paragraph.
There is normal traffic in and out of SJU, so the NOTAM is not No-Fly, but rather ‘be on notice the US is ready to lock down PR airspace for AF sorties to Venez’.
Yes, this is the dumbest article I’ve seen in a while. Hot refueling has nothing to do with airspace management.
I'm seeing more and more of them lately. Navy related articles full of misinformation, showing ships that hull ID number doesn't match ships name, and other types of inaccurate things.

Consider the OP.
“What does it mean?”
It means DJT ain’t screwin’ around...
I have a few landings on the America. I was a C-2 guy.
What year? I was on her 77-80.
I was flying C-2s 1987 through 1993. If I remember correctly, she was an east coast carrier for desert shield/ storm.
Yeap that was likely her. 1995 was her last one there. But before that deployment she had been ran there three times with no overhaul. I think at the completion of the 1993 deployment when they pulled back into NOB NORVA she had a boiler explosion that got her towed to NNSY for a fast patch up and sent on the 1995 deployment. Once the denied her S.L.E.P. they then simply ran her to an early grave literally. She lies in over 16,000 ft deep sea off the North Carolina coast.
She was also the first carrier to do the Suez transit in 1981 IIRC since the Six Day Way.
LOL no you do not
