@RepThomasMassie
Last night, @SchmittNYC & I discussed the President’s proposal to purchase more beef from Argentina.
The America First solution to rising beef prices is my bill, the PRIME Act.
It would empower farmers to sell directly to consumers without corporate middlemen.

Prions, People! Everybody gets PRIONS!
Do you understand the topic? You might research what is happening in the beef industry.
My understanding is that beef production is down, and cost of feed of up, so beef prices have gone through the roof.
Trump is proposing a temporary solution to address the shortage, just like the buying extra eggs from aboard as a temporary solution to address the egg prices crisis we had earlier this year.
Grass-fed Argentine beef is excellent.
Yes and I apologize for my tone as well. The ranchers are up in arms. No fun but from my perspective it helps Thomas back home.
Says the guy who’s second-biggest donor, Susquehanna International Group, owns $15Bn worth of Bytedance and has investments in 350 Chinese companies...
Producing American beef will necessarily involve killing American cattle, which will put an end to their farts, which will in turn help to turn the tide in the fight against global warming.
Of course, Argentine cows also fart, so it’s a win-win either way.
You can already buy from farmers, direct.
I have gotten that done over the years.
What is Assie offering that is different?
Seriously?
That’s under the table as I understand it they have to go through processing centers officially.
I’m no expert on this just saying Massie was astute to jump on this.
Right Brother will know more and will hopefully fill us in
Oh brother, your love affair with massie is just nauseating
They simply get the butchering done at a valid local butcher and bring that meat back home and sell from their large freezers.
It’s all above-board. I even buy raw milk direct from a store hosted by local farmers.
Does Massie have a plan to lower the price of American beef? Because it’s gotten to where I can hardly afford hamburger, let alone roasts or steaks! Price gouging is happening somewhere; where on the supply chain I don’t know, but somewhere.
OMG! Argentine beef is delicious! I’ll buy it!
