I was kidding, and it brings to mind Val Demmings, who was at one time Orlando’s police chief for a couple of years. She had her revolver stolen out of her squad car. Then she quit and got elected to congress. She was a hack and lost her next election. At one time she was the Orlando police chief and her husband Gerry Demmings was Orange County Sherriff at the same time. He is termed out next year as Orange County Commisioner and it looks like he is going to run for Florida governor. A little off topic. Oops.
