Kenny Loggins has hit out at Donald Trump for using his song ‘Danger Zone’ in a controversial video regarding US protests.
The classic ‘80s song was heard playing in a video shared by the US president on his Truth Social account over the weekend. In the clip, a version of Trump made using artificial intelligence was seen wearing a crown and flying in a jet labelled ‘King Trump’. While in the jet, he is seen dumping sludge onto a crowd of people protesting in the streets.
Now, Loggins has criticised the president for using the song without asking for permission, and expressed his frustration at being tied into an online post that is made with the “purpose of dividing us”.

He is just another has-been Leftist.
So isn’t the song “public domain”? Loggins can whine about Trump using it, but I don’t believe he can “shut it down” as the headline states.
The song is public domain.
“Kenny you are getting a royalty for the song.”
There are Trump-loving musicians. Most would be happy to deposit a royalty check.
First of all, President Trump didn’t create the video. All he did was share it.
Satire is a legally protected right in the Constitution.
Not Trump’s finest moment — better to dump the truth on t
those protesters.
It’s Tom Holman and the Deporters!
We’re going to send you back
Enthusiasm we don’t not lack
Every invader back to his or her country
Let America again be free
Restore our country back to the way it used to be
even if we have to water the Tree of Liberty.
He can’t “shut down” anything.
Not his song and not Trump’s meme.
Are you off the fainting couch as yet?
Giorgio Moroder was the composer for this song, as well as Take My Breath Away. *Anyone* could have sung these songs. Odds are Kenny and Berlin were just available, cheap.
For anyone else curious about the source of this swill...

We’ve had more than enough of Karl Marx
Let’s feed the bodies of drug smugglers to the sharks.
A leftist bemoaning the fact that we’re ‘divided’?
That’s like a turd complaining about flies.
Only, WRONG …
WHO? In the 1980s there was a songwriter named Kenny Loggins who wrote and performed three songs of note including I’m Alright (1980) from Caddyshack, Footloose (1984) from Footloose, and Danger Zone (1986) from Top Gun. After he demanded Trump remove his song from an AI meme the the president shared Americans were shocked to learn that Kenny was still alive. He sold his music catalog long ago and was assumed to have passed away.

Must be the same video that dumped huge turds on Harry Sisson from a fighter jet, personally I’d choose a 747 freighter.
Kenny needs to drop the politics and sing.
