I hiked the 65 mile Caprock Canyons Trailway a year ago. It is in the middle of nowhere. It is a converted rail to trail line. The current surface is gravel or dirt. In the first 15 miles I saw 3 bicyclists and 5 horse riders. After that I saw no one for the next 50 miles.
