Too easy to destroy. And the more valuable, the more a target. Wait another 5 years and let climate change rebuild the icy land bridge.
“Wait another 5 years and let climate change rebuild the icy land bridge.”
You left off a few zeros ...
Bingo!!
One the other hand, it would be great practice for Mars.
I remember listening to a great podcast regarding everything Musk is doing, and how much of it is geared toward use on Mars, and eventually large asteroids, moons, etc. Boring underground makes sense. Starlink satellites will someday orbit Mars.
SpaceX uses both methane and oxygen for fuel. We can get oxygen and methane on Mars. Someday, we might even tap into the Solar System's huge gas station orbiting Saturn. Saturn's moon Titan is just waiting for us. There are oceans of hydrocarbons on Titan. It rains hydrocarbons on Titan.
Would some possibly say that this makes Russia part of the Western Hemisphere? I think I may smell a rat here. It certainly seems to create a possible target.
“Destroy”?
By who?
