I live in Iowa and would never own one. My son lives in Arlington, VA and when they had a blizzard, there was a 20 mile traffic jam and the Tesla’s made it worse since you can’t take a bucket of electricity and you’re good to go but most of the Tesla’s had to be towed.
The most recent issue I’ve seen is CARFAX may give a clean bill of health but if it’s been in accident, Tesla may ban the car from charging at one of their stations.

I drive too much. I’d be coming up on my 6th battery replacement in a few months and the difference between that and what I’ve spent on gas/oil/repair would buy me at least 1.5 additional Silverados.
True, but there is a recertification process.
