Most EU countries don’t have a serious military. But France and Poland do. I can’t see how Russia could beat them while still being bogged down in Ukraine.
Anyway, any escalation would obviously be very reckless. Because the “Law of Unintended Consequences” would certainly apply.
As a side point, I wonder if all this war talk from the EU is just meant to distract the masses from the region’s many economic and social problems. I hope they can keep it to just talk.
Since the Brussels-Davos folks are so obsessed with Ukraine, they'll have to send their troops to Ukraine. Russia isn't going to Poland and certainly not France.
