California actually once required every child going from 8th grade into highschool to pass a “constitution test” or you could not advance into highschool. And it was a serious test too, you practically had to have it memorized front to back. I had to take it, it was challenging and when you were done you absolutely knew what the Constitution was.

If students know what is and what is not in the Constitution, the ALCU will have a hard time pushing its agenda.

The constitution defines the operation of our government. It states how things are to be done. Its purpose is not to change minds.

John J McCloy, the former president of the world bank, chairman of the Ford Foundation and the Rockefeller Foundation, once quipped, “the Constitution is just a scrap of paper.”
