Former Rep. Devin Nunes suggested during an interview with Maria Bartiromo on FNC's "Sunday Morning Futures" that the latest charges against former FBI Director James Comey aren't everything, suggesting "a grand conspiracy charge... against probably about two dozen characters in the United States over the last seven, eight years."
DEVIN NUNES: I think Comey should consider himself lucky, Maria, number one, that he wasn't treated like Roger Stone was treated, who had a very similar charge, where they actually raided his home at 6:00 a.m., drug him out.
And that was before they actually called the CNN camera, so that they couldn't go and get it all on camera. So that didn't happen to him. Secondly, what also didn't happen to him is what happened to General Flynn, where Comey himself admitted that they ambushed Flynn in the White House, charged him on very similar charges, even though the FBI agents themselves said that they didn't believe that Flynn had lied.
And, oh, by the way, that information had leaked out on General Flynn, that they then misled the American public about what actually General Flynn said.
So, look, Comey has long been a liar, a leaker. He's dishonest. He ruined the FBI. And I would just lastly say this about this indictment, is, he's going to also going to be very lucky if there's not a superseding indictment. But I'd say, most importantly, he will be lucky if there is not a grand conspiracy charge brought, which is really what should be brought against probably about two dozen characters in the United States over the last seven, eight years.

Adding more serious charges to the initial indictment, such as, conspiracy, sedition or treason. From my understanding, Comey had to be charged with perjury and obstruction by Sept. 30, 2025, or the five-year statute of limitations would run out. There is evidence that the lead prosecutors in Virginia were trying to run out the clock. That’s why Trump said to hurry.

Exactly. Miles to go before we sleep... and we have many traitors (a lot more than two dozen) living among us and working against us, still. It’s an uphill battle but you gotta start somewhere, some time. Can’t think of a better time.

I listened to McCabe yesterday on tv and was astounded by his recollections...
He has been far & away from making public statements and it was easy to hear his “ innocence” or non-role in anything regarding Comey.
It serms time out of the spotlight can justify ones conscience.
He acted as if he had been visited by a angel and he “ knew nothing”...

imo Comey may be first but there should be others brought to court and it will not serve the american public desire for justice.People are expecting more than 5 yrs /18 mos served Fed Camp Country Club.
Imo I had high hopes for Bondi but it seems to me she is disorganized somehow i dont know why I get this impression .

Newsmax just showed a video clip of Comey saying one thing under oath to Congress... and then saying another thing, completely opposite, under oath to Congress. He lied and it’s on tape. Yet he claims he is “innocent”. It’s right there.... for all, including his upcoming jury, to see. How really stupid (or arrogant) would he have to be to claim innocense? Is he counting on the jury to be tainted with all “no justice” leftists? Must be.

The Comey indictment comes out of Virginia because Comey testified via zoom from a location in Virginia. You are correct, an indictment out of DC would be DOA. It’s the same with NYC.
