Yes, New York City uses ranked-choice voting (RCV) for its municipal primary and special elections. This includes races for mayor, comptroller, public advocate, borough president, and City Council. But General elections for these offices, however, still use the traditional “most votes wins” system.
So no.

The Dems know Mamdani will be a disaster.

They should pressure Cuomo to bow out and endorse Sliwa somehow. More chace those votes go to Sliwa.

Give Sliwa a term and blame everything that has gone wrong in NYC on him. Then run Cuomo next cycle.

So, Sliwa is the Democrats’ choice for a Republican opposition (the purpose of RCV)?

Then fight, Fight, FIGHT all the way!

This is a ‘Rat show, anyway. Let the Commie Jew-hater run NYC.
