THE husband of Putin's "Iron Doll" propagandist has become the fourth leading Russian figure to die in the space of just two days.
Tigran Keosayan, who was himself a well known media figure, passed away after spending eight months in a coma.
The Putin-cheerleader had long been suffering from a heart problems before his death.
His wife Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the state-controlled broadcaster RT, announced the news of his passing today.
She wrote on social media: "Tonight, Tigran went to the Creator. Thank you to everyone who prayed.
"Please do not call me or the family now. Thank you all, thank you."
Tigran had slipped into a coma back in January because of his heart issues.
He is reportedly to have briefly experienced clinical death during this health emergency.
Margarita has dealt with her own share of health conditions, having recently been reported to have received a serious diagnosis.
While she did not declare any specifics, a source told The Moscow Times that she has cancer.
But Tigran is just one of several high-profile Russians to have met their ends over the past 48 hours.
One rich pro-Putin politician was found hanging from a tree with his hands bound.
Construction company boss Vitaly Kapustin was found swinging 20ft up from a tree branch.

Transport boss Alexander Fedotov, 49, was also found dead at a hotel in Moscow.
His body was found outside the five-star Skypoint Luxe hotel at Moscow’s Sheremetyevo international airport.
-snip-
And multi-millionaire ex-customs chief Boris Avakyan was found in a toilet after fleeing a court case.
His body was found with "slit wrists" inside the Armenian consulate in St Petersburg.
Avakyan had escaped a Russian courtroom by sneaking outside for a cigarette before getting into a car.

Sounds suspiciously like a homicide? Hillary , do you have an opinion on?

Dear FRiends, Our FReepathon is our next concern. We still need to raise approximately $13k before the end of the month to meet our goal! And I think we’re gonna need a little prayer here. Thank you very much and God bless you.

Putin is killing his political enemies.
One would think that after the first two, at least, a pattern, a heads up, could be established for leading Russian figures.
Another Sun UK post. In this, the British give actual "sources say" for a source: "His wife Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the state-controlled broadcaster RT, announced the news of his passing today."
And then back to "While she did not declare any specifics, a source told The Moscow Times that she has cancer."
Sun UK failed to link to the Moscow Times, a Netherlands based media, had this article, to which I link properly:
RT Chief Simonyan May Step Down After Alleged Cancer Diagnosis, Source Says The Moscow Times, 8 September 2025."Russia's leading, independent English-language publication" is run out of Amsterdam by CEO Derk Sauer in the Netherlands. Its Editor in Chief, Samantha Berkhead, is also resident in Amsterdam, as is the listed publisher, Alexander Gubsky. It has ad offices in Moscow, Russia, and also in Liverpool, UK and NYC.
It's an interesting article, because in starting with the Moscow Times anonymous source about Simonyan, it then re-publishes the earlier article's contents which you'd posted earlier in the day. All anonymous sources, excepting one.
“ Tigran Keosayan, who was himself a well known media figure, passed away after spending eight months in a coma.”

Thank you Marcus. Please continue to to post the death of any Russian who has been in a long term comas. So unexpected and mysterious.
DON’T FORGET THE FREEPATHON!
Oh, look - McGruff, the "putinista", kicked in to support Free Republic - unlike the freeploading deadbeat spammer and troll, marcusmaximus.
Wha happen?
Give marcus a break. It's TOUGH to beat the deadbeat freeploading spammer habit. 😉😂😂
The wiki for Kerosyan says he had heart attacks in 2008 and 2010. Then in January he had another that put him into a coma. I suppose that means a heart lung machine for about 9 months.
Men do not live long in several East European countries including Russia. And as has been pointed out in the past alcohol consumption per capita is lower in several of those countries compared to the West. For quite a long time it’s been understood that there is some genetic causation.
Watch your back over there!
“Men do not live long in several East European countries including Russia.”
The average male is Russia lives to 64.
After draing the state pension fund, Putin set the retirement age to 65.
“And as has been pointed out in the past alcohol consumption per capita is lower in several of those countries compared to the West.”
NOPE!
ZEEPER FOLLIES PINGLIST!(((PING!)))
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_countries_by_alcohol_consumption_per_capita
Russia’s consumption 10.4 liters per year per person.
UK’s consumption 10.8. Germany 12.2. Ireland 11.7.
It’s not alcohol that is reducing lifespan.
Going for a $$ spamming bonus azzhole?
That’s a great point but perhaps not the one you intended.
Yes, there can be other reasons for numbers.
Like life expectancy in Russia. The propaganda about alcohol is just not so. Something genetic is happening.
