Rough Week For Liberal Comedy As Kimmel's, Colbert's Monthly Cycles Sync Up

U.S. — The liberal comedy scene weathered a challenging week after Jimmy Kimmel and Stephen Colbert had their monthly cycles sync up.

While both Kimmel and Colbert have long been prone to weepy, emotional outbursts and fits of rage, it is believed that this is the first time their cycles have become perfectly synchronized.

"This is terrifying," said local liberal Tina Lowe, as she watched both men scream and cry into the camera. "The waterfall of tears, the big feelings. Even for me, it's a little much."

According to sources, prescription-strength Midol was simply no match for the two men's monthly cycles. "No medicine wrought by man could contain the horror of Kimmel and Colbert synced up," said a production assistant. "We're trying to going through Kleenex like candy. We've got them together watching 10 Things I Hate About You, hoping it will buy us a little peace. We just have to ride out the storm."

At publishing time, disaster had struck after Jim Gaffifan's cycle had also synced up to the other two.

Late night talk shows self described as comedy shows don't suffer from a Kimmel, Colbert, etc, al... problem. They suffer from very lazy writers for the comedy shows. All they write to provide show material, is Trump-Conservative bashing crap. The laugh tracks inform you its supposed to be comedy.

Of all the crazy happenings in this country and world, to have to bash conservatives every night is just boring and lacks creativity.

ABC - Disney, needs to Fire the really lazy writers and producers of the shows. Hire some comedy writers that are funny.

I appreciated their mention of Gaffigan...i used to think he was pretty funny, until he was struck down with TDS a while back and from then on just whimpered and whined about PDJT.
It is not a good look, so i cancelled him in my household.

True. Just saying. People on the left are screaming about Kimmels right to free speech being violated (of course it is not), but what Kimmel delivers on his show are words written by network producers and writers, not any real representation of Kimmels opinions or material.

It makes as much sense as saying that Anthony Hopkins has the right to peel off your face, or Dennis Hopper has the right to cut off ears. Jimmy Kimmel is an actor. His words are proxy statements of others.
