Medvedev: Trump has fallen into an alternate reality

Russian Security Council Deputy Chairman Dmitry Medvedev responded on Wednesday to United States President Donald Trump's comments about the Ukraine conflict by stating that he "has once again fallen into an alternate reality."

The US president "issued a series of political incantations on the theme of 'How weak Russia is'" Medvedev wrote on Telegram. "After meeting with the clowns in Kiev and Paris, he published a colorful post. It mentions Kiev's final victory, a return to the former borders, Russia's failed military economy, queues for gasoline, and a 'paper tiger.'"

Moreover, Medvedev went on to suggest that Trump "will return. He always returns," adding that "in a couple of days, he will probably offer" Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky, whom he referred to as the "green pianist," to "sign the surrender. Or fly to Mars with Musk, whom he has forgiven. Or do something else very important that will make him eligible for the Nobel Prize," Medvedev concluded.

Regardless of their motivations, their arguments stand, or they don’t. Snide name-calling and empty put-downs won’t win the day, even if it reinforces the “true believers” on etither side.

Free Republic will not survive non-donating trolls working daily to discourage donors with their BS.

They’ll turn this place into DU. I know - I’ve been on FR since March 1997.

I do not think we should try to chase those who generally support Putin/Russia or those who demonize Uktraine off of the board. I prefer the Charlie Kirk approach of “Prove me wrong” rather than name-calling. It keeps all of us sharp.

I agree with that and it sounds good.

But I tried having reasonable discussions early on with some of these people and was called a “Putin puffer,” “Bolshevik” snd other nasty, spittle-flecked insults, even though I have never expressed on iota of support for Putin or Russia.

I did express my opposition to Biden repeatedly sending billions, with no audits or accountability to a known money-laundering operation. This was also met with screeching and name-calling.

That, coupled with the blatant and excessive propaganda with which these people pollute the board makes it nearly impossible to take these people seriously.

But they really should donate to the FR fundraisers since they’re using the forum to push their agenda.

No Trump has woken up to reality, realizing Putin was always playing him for more time for his invasion.

It's not so hard. Perhaps they are hiding who they REALLY are?

Dear FRiends, Our FReepathon is our next concern. We still need to raise approximately $16k before the end of the month to meet our goal! And I think we're gonna need a little prayer here. Thank you very much and God bless you.

Medvedev takes advantage of the anti-Trump sentiment among US liberals
and fuels the fire.

I have finished an extensive array of queries to ChatGPT concerning impact on Russian refinery capacity.

1) The 17% offline number is unreliable. It appears for the first time from a Reuters “calculation” and the details of that calculation was never presented.

2) That 17% number is NOT the total knocked offline since start of war. It appears to mean offline at any point in time — though the 17% number itself is unsupported. Regardless of lack of support, it does not refer to cumulative refinery loss. It refers to any point in time (and is unreliable)

3) Russian oil refining capacity appears to be a supported number at 5.1 million barrels/day to 5.6 million bpd

4) Repair times appear to be on the order of 1 month. That is closer to maximum than average.

5) A “hit” refinery, in any particular and specific attack, never has (in what GPT located) a quote of barrels/day throughput offline after the attack. To date, there has been no given attack with open source quotes of “permanently offline”.

6) GPT’s overall evaluation from open source and its delving into “behind paywall” and even “Subscription” data sources like Woods MacKenzie is that likely Russian refinery capacity offline, at least partially, at any one time, is approximately 10%. That means that a refinery that is hit is presumed to be at 0 throughput during repair, despite the vast majority still having partial throughput.

Because of this the 10% number can be considered high.

Trump Was VERY clear yesterday” Good luck to all.” People are obtuse. He meant, “ have at it” , and we will make money off it.”

Interesting that none of the neocon mouths around here want to get their names on the donations board.

It’s SOOO easy.

“After 3 plus years, almost as long as the USSR took to March into Berlin (after starting the war allied with nazi Germany), and they hold less territory then they did they did in 2022.

Only cost over 1 million dead and wounded, Soviet weapons stockpile depleted, economy in shambles and are now a puppet state of China.”

That is why President Trump now calls Russia a paper tiger. They have shown themselves to not only not being the second best military in the world, but even being the second best in Ukraine.

They even have been reduced to being a net importer of food this year.

Putin has been the Doom of Russia.
