Russia has been fighting aimlessly for three and a half years a War that should have taken a Real Military Power less than a week to win. This is not distinguishing Russia. In fact, it is very much making them look like “a paper tiger.”

President Donald J. Trump

In the General/Chat forum, on a thread titled Trump: "In any event, I wish both Countries well. We will continue to supply weapons to NATO for NATO to do what they want with them. Good luck to all!", tlozo wrote:

It sounds like you think he meant that to be taken as factual. He's nailing down a key point of Ukraine/NATO propaganda - that Russia is weak. That statement of his will make it hard for them to claim Russia is going to take over the world, dreams of world conquest etc. when they beg for or demand the US get involved fighting RUssia.

NATO/Ukrainian false rhetoric about Russia's aspirations to take over 'if he's not stopped now' will have a collision with claims their own claims that he's too weak to hold out long.

Russia wanted to finish the fighting on his terms and Trump's exit will allow him to do that. Propaganda won't help the Ukraine as much as it used to - the money allowing Zelensky to posture as ready to fight as long as it takes has just left.

NATO members can't make their 5% GDP contribution to NATO defense spending, and are struggling to get to 3%. NATO heads of state are starting to admit their countries don't have money and their military strength is atrophied. But if they don't fund NATO and rebuild their armies, the US has no benefit in the NATO 'alliance' as they are too enfeebled to come to their own aid, let alone come to the aid of the US.

Zelensky's just about on his own at this point.
