I have a lot of respect for the Japanese. The country is clean, prosperous, and relatively safe. Their products are of good quality. They have serious respect for culture but their hierarchies are impenetrable. Their birth rate is too low and they are capable of being heartless monsters (especially v. China). Interesting place, one of the few in the world I’d like to go see.
