Then it will be unwatchable. The Angles and Saxons were not racially diverse. They were Germanic tribes. We know exactly what they looked like.

That’s just bizarre. I would not expect or want to see Liam Neeson portraying a Zulu adviser in a telepic on the life and times of Shaka, nor would I expect or want to see Kenneth Branagh playing Crazy Horse or Geronimo.

"...The BBC said at the time that the series would bring “Harold and William to life” with details of their personal lives, adding: “In the UK we learn about William the Conqueror, the Battle of Hastings and King Harold’s gruesome death in our school history lessons – but those headlines are all most of us can remember..." So...we're just gonna make stuff up so it is fun for Leftists to watch and redefine history from, because...EVERYONE of any race, sex, color, or creed should have a historical hand in every single event in history!

Who should play Shaka Zulu? Brad Pitt, Chris Prat, Chris Hemsworth? Just wondering.

About as absurd as that AI rendering of a black Nazi soldier.

It’s a shame Paul Reubens died, he would have been great playing Shaka Zulu in a remake. “I’m Shaka... hahah!”
I’m sure white liberals would be celebrating that groundbreaking diversity!

Xena had blacks playing Helen of Troy and Cleopatra in the mid 90s, so this is nothing new. But there’s always a bit of cringe involved, at least initially. Having Denzel Washington play Macrinus in Gladiator 2 was a bit strange, but he is Denzel Washington.

We already had Chuck Connors (The Rifleman) playing Geronimo.

Wait, are you suggesting the anglo-saxons were racially composed of…
…anglo-saxons?!?! I’d find that SCANDALOUS! if I were a blue-haired land-whale.

Cleopatra was not historically accurate but we got away with it because it was the 90s and we didn't really think too much about it at the time, I think.
