Things that can be done at early discovery are many, getting screenings is important.

a PSA test can help detect potential problems before symptoms develop. Can but doesn't always. The digital check is also necessary. My husband's PSAs were normal but the digital detected a slight difference which got biopsied which showed cancer. All contained within the gland but still there.
As annoying as the digital is ... just do it.

That’s the test which gives every doctor license to jam his finger up your butt. It may be the best way but it’s not pleasant. Unless you’re the type that enjoys having things inserted up your butt and you know who you are.

the second-leading cause of male cancer deaths, after lung cancer. I didn't know lung cancer was the top killer cancer of men.

Focal therapy, sounds like a winner. SIGN ME UP.. Chemo is a killer of strength, hormone therapy takes away what makes you a man.

I was just in for a physical. Sorry to disappoint for you who enjoy it, but doctors are quitting the finger up the tailpipe. It has no statistical benefit in detection.

Proton radiation therapy worked for me. Worse side effect was loose stools.
