Caitlin Clark to quit the WNBA? Insider raises fears as Fever star remains sidelined with mystery injury

Caitlin Clark, the standout guard for the Indiana Fever, has become one of the most electrifying talents in the WNBA. Her scoring prowess, playmaking ability, and leadership have not only helped elevate the Fever but also brought unprecedented attention to the league.

However, the 2025 season has been anything but smooth for Clark, whose ongoing injury issues and the team's internal struggles are raising serious questions about her future in professional basketball.

Clark's season has been plagued by multiple injuries. She first suffered a right groin injury on July 15, which kept her off the court for more than a month. During a solo training session on August 7, she sustained a bone bruise on her left ankle, further complicating her recovery.

The Fever have yet to provide a clear timeline for her return, leaving fans anxious about her availability for the playoff push.

Is Caitlin Clark coming back?

Popular WNBA content creator Rachel DeMita has weighed in bluntly on Clark's situation and fears she may not be back this season - or perhaps at all.

"I don't think Caitlin Clark is coming back," DeMita said, blunt and unfiltered. "And honestly, that's the thought on everyone's mind right now."

DeMita's candid assessment reflects the unease surrounding Clark's recovery and the Fever's handling of the situation. While head coach Stephanie White remains more measured, stating: "The hope is that she's back."

Either way, fans are growing impatient, with many expressing frustration online and a sense that they have "had enough" of the uncertainty.

She’d be wise to find another career, one where she isn’t attacked for being white.

…or being “straight.”

Mostly, it's because she's straight.

She could make the same money in Europe and not get beaten up for being white/straight.

Go play in Europe. She’d make more money and be happier.

The WNBA needs to go out of business.

Not a chance. She can’t return to college. She can’t sell blue jeans. She’d never make the money she can in pro basketball doing anything else with the endorsements, etc.

I’d be shocked if she really walked away.

She can easily coach college basketball. Return to Iowa. Or go somewhere else like Missouri.

Yes. It would seem a good time to review other options at the same time to find a place she can succeed & shine.
Her treatment has really exposed the rotten underbelly of the WNBA. I hope that they are getting zero federal support. Poor sportsmanship, envy, and racism are not the traits America was built on.

Really could care less about the WNBA or Clark but she would be insane to try to come back prematurely from a groin injury given the WNBA ghetto culture that has black players who seem to take delight in teeing off and taking violent and malicious cheap shots at her because they hate a talented white girl that runs rings around them.

Clark is about as good as it gets when it comes to women's basketball players and she can play in any league she chooses. And she make bank on endorsements playing in Europe.

As for me, if I want to watch that calibre of game, I can hit my local high school games and have a lot more fun watching.

White players are attacking CC too because she's not a lesbian.

Rebecca Lobo didn't get this treatment, but she was a standout college player who did not excel in the WNBA. Maybe you can be white and non-perverted, if you don't show up everybody else.

...at about 1/5th of what she would make as a player.

Yep. And grab all the endorsement money she can now.
💰

Because as the old saying goes, fame is fleeting.

I hope she does quit, and after the way these ingrates have acted, I hope America quits the WNBA too.

There was also Jennifer Rizzotti. Besides being normal and white, she was short. But she played five years in the WNBA.

While Clarke is out, perhaps her team could address the individuals on the other teams who blatantly injured Clarke. Give them a little, or a lot, of their own medicine.

I looked and WNBA ratings have dropped 55% since Clark’s injury.

She wasn't that good.

Did you know that women play pro hoops in Europe and they would pay big bucks for a once in a life time hoopster like Clark?

If I were her agent, we'd be in Paris talking with the Mid-Eastern, oil rich Mullahs that control that money and be telling the black lesbians at wnba to go suck a wet rag.

Give me the oil money and let the Fever take an aspirin.

F*** the wnba, nothing but lesbian street hos that hate Clark because she is white, straight and the BEST player they have ever seen.

Let them go back to flying Spirit Air Lines, and playing in front of crowds of 5,000 and giving blow jobs for $20 bucks.

I'd say F### em all, but I mean, pi#s on all of them.
