A nice bonus vid, with a surprise twist.
Edward Heinberger received the Bronze Star for heroism under fire at the Battle of Tarawa. Prior to his service, he was famous for reasons that had nothing to do with the military. It is history that deserves to be remembered... The combat footage is from Louis Hayward's 1944 documentary "With the Marines at Tarawa." The influential short film was notable because it used no actors, and was filmed by Marine Staff Sergeant Norman T. Hatch. The president's approval was required to release a film showing actual combat.

I just read the version I provided with paragraphs (a LOT easier for me without the YT timestamps and no paragraphs).
