This reads like so:
We told you 2 months ago you could have peace with the battle lines X Y Z. Now they are much worse and you can have peace with those.
If not, then it will be even worse in a few more months.
Much worse how so? A few more Ukrainian villages genocidally destroyed by invading Russian Nazis? Ukraine will get it all back when Russia collapses again, anyway.
