It is difficult for me to understand the 30 year time period.
Old eggs, being fertilized successfully has been done but what does this prove and why?

I don’t know what correlations have been shown to exist between the age of an egg and various characteristics of the child, but it’s long been observed that position in a large family - oldest vs. youngest - makes a child more or less likely to display certain characteristics…

..along with the theory that some of these correlations may be due to the age of the egg at conception - I.e., the oldest child in a family was produced by the youngest egg, and visa versa.

Obviously, there are other environmental factors that could explain such differences as well, but it is an interesting theory.
