How a changing of the guard and a whisper from Melania forced Trump to confront Putin

Trump is a ‘realist’

Yet despite prominent figures within Mr Trump’s coalition warning against overseas military action, congressional Republicans warned that it was not always those who shouted loudest whose opinions carried weight with Mr Trump.

“With this president, you are not going to win your policy debate in the media. The idea of loud people leading him is wrong,” a congressional source told The Telegraph.

They added that Mr Trump is a “realist and a pragmatist”, which functions as an “ideological difference” from those on the isolationist wing of his party.

Another insider added: “Trump can be hawkish when he needs to be and dovish when he needs to be. With him, it’s a question of who pays.”

A senior White House source added: “It’s pressure points, and he knows how to push them to get the best deal possible, and that is an end to the war.”

According to one congressional source, Mr Rubio’s close relationship with the president allowed him to intervene when Putin stepped up his attacks in recent weeks, unleashing up to 1,000 missile and drone strikes a day.

“Many of us believed that the Russians will [always mess up],” a congressional aide said. “[Our tactic was to] get out of the way and let the Russians remind us why this is happening. They always go too far.”

Melania the wild card

And then there is the wild card: Melania - or Agent Melania Trumpenko as she has now been labelled by some in Ukraine.

TRUMP: “I’d get home, I’d say, ‘First Lady, I had the most wonderful talk with Vladimir. I think we’re finished.’”

“& she’ll say to me, ‘Well, that’s strange, they just bombed a nursing home.’”

“I said, ‘What?!’”

So those of us who don’t want war with Russia are now isolationist? Sounds more like Trump is being influenced by the neocon Rubio and the deep state. Russia is winning the war and isn’t going to give Trump the deal that he wants. If Trump actually is a “realist and a pragmatist” he would understand this and quit throwing additional money to Ukraine.

“Rheinmetall will hold a 60% stake in the joint venture, and the facilities will be capable of producing up to 10,000 missiles per year. Production is expected to begin between 2026 and 2027.”

“Special emphasis will be placed on long-range missiles”

https://euromaidanpress.com/2025/05/19/europe-plans-to-produce-10000-missiles-annually-including-only-ones-that-can-stop-russias-ballistic-terror-in-ukraine/?swcfpc=1

Vlad, can I have a 30-day ceasefire (while the US, EU and Ukraine boost arms production and Ukraine trains about 50,000 more soldiers)?

Nyet, Don, nyet!

“unleashing up to 1,000 missile and drone strikes a day.”

Pretty much all the missiles are shot down short of a target, probably by Patriots.

About 85% to 95% of the drones are shot down short of a target, mainly by anti-aircraft guns I believe.

Most of the 1,000 launches never strike anywhere near a target.

Carter asked his teen daughter for nuclear warhead advice.

Nancy sought astrologers.

Biden didn’t even know what was going on.

We need this branch?

Melania's father was an active member of his local branch of the communist party, even hired as the chauffeur for the head honcho. He would go on to sell cars, after he became the chauffeur of the head honcho for the large textile firm in town, where his wife would work for 33 years.

After a few years, the family moved from an apartment to a two story house:

As a young teenager, Melania began spending more time in Europe, focusing on Paris and Rome to establish her modeling career.

From all reports, Melania wasn't waiting on food lines or dodging communist spies. She lived a pretty normal, upper middle class life culminating with her move to the United States.

Not smart of your side to declare war on Melania and her father.
