Michigan's football program continues to set records, but not the kind that your school or alumni are proud of. Michigan’s violation record shows disturbingly consistent behavior. Whether engaged in cover up, destroying evidence, or outright lying, they have been on a collision course with the B1G Conference, and the NCAA.
Michigan’s record of violations is Record Breaking for any NCAA affiliated institution; that we are only talking about the FB program and the entire Athletic Department, is well astounding.
Eleven (11) Level 1 Violations across three investigations. Level 1 violations are the most serious violations of NCAA policy; this does not include the lesser violations.
The Wolverines are potentially facing seven Level 1 infractions across multiple investigations. Connor Stallions activities account for six (6) of these.

Where to start with Michigan Football. Whether Jim's lying about having breakfast with a recruit, or sleeping over at another recruit's home, he has tried to cover his tracks for illegal activities during the COVID period, and during periods where no recruiting was allowed.
Enter Matt Weiss Assistant Coach whose computer is the epicenter for almost all the scandals currently known about - The Las Vagas Gaming Commission, in hand with the FBI, began investigation into a single IP address that was breaking the Betting Lines. It turns out this was a computer networked on the Michigan Athletic Departments FB program, and desk of Weiss. What the Gambling Investigation uncovered was thousands of pictures of underage girls and women from hacked social media accounts... of course they found the Betting Guy who was gambling at times even during half time of games... also found was Matt/Michigan Football coaches had hacked Ohio State, Penn State, and other programs downloading their entire FB program archieves and current training session film. Harbaugh is enjoined in a major series of lawsuits that could reach into multiple Billions in damages.
Connor Stallions... Was he funded by his used vaccum clearer business in which he, unbeknownst to Michigan's Star Running Back as partner, was selling his merchandise from his home. Or was it the Big Whig Michigan funder and donor who Stallions was oftentimes dealing with... at any rate it took thousands of dollars to buy well over a hunderd tickets on or about the 50 year line on both sides of the field for over 60 games illegally scouted by the Stallions operation.
Stealing signs is legal in college football, and most programs do it. It is perfectly legal to use tape of a team to decipher signals, but it is illegal to in-person scout teams.
Stalions allegedly purchased tickets to games featuring future Michigan opponents, and he sent people to the games to film the sidelines. He allegedly used the footage to decipher signs. So, to recap: Using game tape that is available to decipher signs: legal. Using a friend's iPhone video from the bleachers: not allowed.
Jim McElwain, is the subject of an NCAA investigation related to ex-Michigan staffer Connor Stalions. McElwain is a former Harbaugh disciple and formerly HC of Central Michigan allowed Stallions onto the sideline in Team Coaching gear provided on Video Taped Evidence. Stallions was recorded on National TV wearing his Spy Glasses with the video recording light during the game when he tried to cover his face and move out of the way of players crossing the sidelines. McElwain has decided to "retire" as a result of the publicity and investigations.
Sherrone Moore, in particular, is facing potential penalties for deleting 52 text messages between himself and former Michigan staffer Connor Stalions, who was accused of orchestrating the school's sign-stealing operation. As a second-time offender, Moore also came under the ire of the NCAA for contacting recruits during a COVID-19 dead period—his individual punishments could be more severe than what the school faces as a whole.
The Connor Stalions sign-stealing incident added six additional Level 1 violations to Michigan’s record of violations, totalling 11 violations across three investigations. Level 1 violations are the most serious violations of NCAA policy; the official website describes it as: “seriously undermine or threaten the integrity of the NCAA collegiate model.”
Considering the history of major NCAA violations, Michigan may be in a dangerous position. Tennessee had 18 Level 1 violations and was found to be lacking in its institutional monitoring of the program.
Former coaches Jesse Minter and Steve Clinkscale have been charged with recruiting violations unrelated to the sign stealing.

guessing you are an OSU fan....OSU still looking for ghosts why they have lost 4 in a row...still using this lame excuse as a reason they keep losing even after they already stated they knew Michigan had their signs and changed them before the game in ‘22. If Michigan only won because of stolen signs why did the win out in ‘23 after this scheme was exposed? Why did OSU lose to the worst QB in D1 last year at home?

He was set up because he was a committed, pro-Life Christian. The “violations” started being committed the moment the U of Michigan faculty publicly asserted that they had to get rid of him in any way possible... and then and only then a bunch of pee-ons, not directly answerable to him, started committing a bunch of senseless violations?
At first glance, it seems natural for someone to say, “Suuuuure you didn’t ask so-and-so to do this.” But why would these cheaters only start cheating once people have made it clear that they need a reason to get rid of him?
Wolverines fans should be proud that their football program has more wins than anyone at 1,012, according to winsipedia. Of course, Bama and Ohio State are a close 2nd (1,004 wins) and third (990 wins) unless one believes with the NCAA that wins Bama fans and OSU fans remember don't count (30 of Bama wins vacated/forfeited and 12 of OSU's wins). So you can understand OSU fans saying to punish Michigan if their infractions are worse than OSU players getting free tattoos for signing autographs.
I see at 80 something he is still on the State Pen team, he can be released in 2042, hope he makes an effort to stay on the team that long.

That articlis is a bunch of nonsense, throwing a bunch of crap at the fan and hope something hits.And Paul Finebaum is a weasel SEC groupie. Fact is, Michigan went thru a gauntlet of teams after the Conor Stalions allegations surfaced. So those teams were prepared and still got beat.

He could have said, “At the end of the day, no one believes at this point that Michigan won the national title fair and square.”
or he could have said, “At the end of the day, no one doubts at this point that Michigan won the national title fair and square.”
But instead he created a Frankenstein sentence with time-phased conjecture (at the end of the day, no one believes) to make a time-phased point (at this point) by giving a double negative statement (didn’t win the national title fair and square).
