Russian President also emphasized that the situation between Russia and Ukraine is different from what US President Donald Trump is doing, trying to achieve unconditional surrender of Iran in terms of nuclear program

SANCT-PETERBURG, June 20. / TASS /. Russia does not seek surrender of Ukraine, but insists that Kiev recognize the realities prevailing on the earth.

This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (PIEF).

"We are not seeking surrender from Ukraine. We insist on recognizing the realities that have developed on earth, "he stressed.

Putin also emphasized that the situation between Russia and Ukraine is different from what US President Donald Trump is doing, trying to achieve an unconditional surrender of Iran in terms of the nuclear program: "This situation is not the same, but fundamentally different."

Thank you very much and God bless you.

I just saw an article from Ukrainian state controlled media and wanted to get a balanced look by reporting the other side as well.

The US has a long history of invading small countries as an integral part of our foreign policy.
We always see ourselves as The Good Guys.
Much of the world does not see us that way. But we don’t care.

I think if Russia will help us get the outcome we desire in Iran, then we should help Russia get the outcome it desires in Ukraine.
It’s a big world, and Ukraine is not important. The US-Russia relationship is important. We aren’t going to attack each other. It might help if we assisted each other.

I guess if you’re the dictator of a large country, the things you desire become “realities on earth.”

“We always see ourselves as The Good Guys.”

That is because we are the good guys. If we helped Russia achiweve its ends in Ukraine then we would no longer be the good guys. Russia is the nu 1 threat and Iran is the nu 2 threat we swhould not help Russia, our nu 1 threat aganst nu 2.

Poor translation.

" . . . the realities that have developed on earth" means

" . . . the realities that have developed on the ground"

The translation software at TASS was pretty rough. Some ledes just didn't make sense. I tried running the Russian version of the article through the Google Translator.

Google translates the TASS phrase "с учетом сложившихся реалий." as "taking into account the current realities." I used Google to translate 'earth' into Russian: "земля". I then searched the TASS article for that word and it wasn't there. I'll put the full Google translation of this article below because it seems to read more accurately.

Russia considers all of Ukraine its own, but does not reject its right to independence, offering Kyiv to stop the conflict taking into account the current realities. This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin at the plenary session of the SPIEF.

The head of state also answered questions about the possibility of a mutually acceptable peaceful solution to the conflict in the Middle East, the new world order and the outdated approaches of the West, which ignores the interests of the Russian Federation.

TASS has collected the main theses of the Russian President.

The situation in Ukraine
Russia is not seeking capitulation from Ukraine: "We insist on recognition of the realities that have developed on the ground." Thus, the Russian army "is advancing in all directions along the entire line of combat contact every day," creating a security zone, for which the enemy is forced to divert its forces, "which are already in short supply in the key areas of the armed struggle."
In the Kursk region, the Ukrainian side lost 76 thousand people, "this is a catastrophe for them." The goal of the attack on the Kursk region was "political in nature - to show that they can get something else from their sponsors from abroad." The depth of the security zone in the Sumy region is from 10 to 12 km. "You know, we have <...> not a proverb, not a parable, but an old rule - where the foot of a Russian soldier steps, that is ours." The situation in Ukraine is a tragedy that is happening due to the fault of the West: "This is the result of the work of those who do not want to put up with the global changes happening in the world." The previous US administration openly stated that it spent billions of dollars on the "coup [in Ukraine]." The West tried to act from a position of strength in the situation around Ukraine. Russia, on the other hand, at every stage offered Kyiv to stop the fighting and negotiate. Russians and Ukrainians are one people: "In this sense, all of Ukraine is ours." At the same time, Moscow has never compromised Ukraine's right to build an independent and neutral state: "The grounds on which Ukraine became independent and sovereign were set out in the 1991 Declaration of Independence of Ukraine, where it is clearly written in black and white that Ukraine is a non-aligned, non-nuclear, neutral state."
On threats of using a "dirty bomb"
There is no confirmation of Kyiv's intentions to use a "dirty bomb", but such plans may appear "in a sick imagination."
Russia's nuclear doctrine states that "we always respond to all threats that are created for us in kind": "Therefore, our response will be very harsh and, most likely, catastrophic for both the neo-Nazi regime and, unfortunately, for Ukraine itself. I hope that it will never come to that."
Possibilities for resolving the conflict in the Middle East
I would like for the threats from Israel against the spiritual leader of Iran, Ayatollah Ali Khamenei, to "remain at the level of rhetoric."
The Russian Federation does not seek mediation in the Middle East, but offers ideas: "And if they seem attractive to both countries, we will be only too happy about this."
In the settlement of the conflict between Israel and Iran, "acceptable solutions can be found, in my opinion, for both countries": "Both the countries of the global South, and especially the countries of the region, can certainly have a positive impact on this process, on the search for this solution. In my opinion, such a solution exists."
In this matter, "it is better not to run ahead, so as not to harm" the settlement process, but "there are points of possible contact."
Russia continues to work at the Bushehr nuclear power plant in Iran and has received assurances about the safety of its employees from the leaders of Israel and the United States, Benjamin Netanyahu and Donald Trump: "Despite all the complexity of the situation, despite a certain danger, we continue this work. We are not evacuating our personnel from there." The New World Order as a "Sunrise"
The new world order is emerging "naturally, it's like a sunrise": "There's no getting away from it!" Russia and China are not forming a new world order, "we are only formalizing it" and, perhaps, "clearing the way for this process so that it is more balanced and meets the interests of the overwhelming majority of countries."
Russia's decision to develop relations with the global South was made long ago, "keeping in mind the trends of world development", which are objective in nature.
Western countries are losing their positions in the world economy, if they "want to maintain their monopoly position at all costs, if they want to preserve the instruments of colonial influence in the world, then they will have to, using these instruments, be content exclusively with the position into which they are gradually sliding." Nevertheless, Russia is ready "to negotiate with them about everything."
Russia was promised never to expand NATO to the east: "After that, we had five waves of expansion, one could say six already." The security of one country "cannot be ensured at the expense of the security of another." NATO's ignoring of Russia's interests is "certainly a vestige of the old, if not ancient, neocolonial policy, to a certain extent modernized contemporary realities."

We haven’t been the good guys since the 90’s. About the time we had the opportunity to make a choice, either become the undisputed Enforcer of the World, or part of the solution with other countries. We choose to dictate to the world how things were going to be.

Clinton illegally used NATO to bomb Serbia... The US embarked upon a period at that time which is just now coming to an end. Trump has explained that we are in a period of Great Power Competition with Russia and China, each with spheres of influence.

Without healthy competition, the US became a bully on the world stage.

We shoved the Globalhomosexual Agenda, then Abortions, then the Transgender madness as an official matter of foreign policy, treaties and agreements using our diplomatic arm at State.

Now that Trump recognizes we cannot do as we please, American has a chance again to become Good Guys. I somehow doubt America can ever be THE GOOD GUYS, we might be decent guys, but as long as we have our Marxist DNC we are part of the Godless problem.

Putin realizes the West, e.g., the US and EU are entering a period of Recessionary quarters. He also knows the USD is no longer the world Trade instrument.

History shows the US has few options with our fiscal positon. We can replace our currency with something that won’t take a wheel borrow this time next year - digital dollar.

The pivot to Bitcoin is happening - it will see BTC explode in value as Governments park their fiat into it in order not to go bankrupt. BTC will need to go to 250K by end of 2025, 500k in 2026, 750 in 2027 and 1m in 2028... It may go to 2m within a year after that.

Putin has been patient watching the west implode economically.

American can no longer fight two wars. We cannot fight 1.5 wars. In fact, we cannot support two proxies in two conflicts and dictate the outcome in either of them.

It is rude awakening for Americans to realize that Blinken, Sullivan and Biden took their eye off the ball while they were lining their pockets and pushing the LGBT Agenda. When we hatched Project Ukraine, we were the undisputed Super Power; today we are one of three Great Powers.
