He confided in Me a few years before He Posted that Thread and asked for Me to not share that information with Anyone. It was very difficult for Me to keep it private because I wanted to share it and get Prayers going out for Him.
He is an impeccable, amazing Man and has been Posting and Maintaining the FR Formula 1 Threads and the F1 GP THREAD for many Seasons/Years through thick and thin starting on 8/5/2009, 10:57:45 PM for the GP Thread.

Only mabarker1 has known what has been going on and has kept his vow of science but the time has now come to fess up.
i have been fighting cancer since last October going thru chemo/radiation and then more chemo and it damn near killed me.
i have been in hospital three times this year, 8 then 10 then 21 days.
the first when my body had multiple organ system complications and shut down, then again with additional complications, the third time i had major abdominal surgery all stemming from the chemo/rad.
the surgery was small bowel to small bowel bypass of multiple small bowel obstructions, meaning most of my sm bowel no longer functions in the normal manner.
along with ulcerative colitis and decompensatied liver with acities i am not in the best of shape.
that said i will be less visible here from now on and will not be answering every ping or post to me, let alone on this thread, just know i am not ignoring you, simply not up to it.

Please let our great FRiend Chode know that the whole lot of us in the F1 group are with him and wish him easing of the discomfort.
I will do so next time I’m in contact. He’s supposed to let Me know when He’s settled in but that may be tomorrow because the move is probably gonna take a bunch out of Him.
