Regarding bias, based upon typical treatment of media, what you think the reaction would be if a consensual Christian practice - lets say the Lord's supper - was shown to be responsible for up to 81% of new HIV cases aged 13 and older among men - - despite only representing approximately 4% of the male population - and 92% of new HIV among youth, and (historically) a greatly increased incidence of other infectious diseases and premature death (all of which is documented by CDC stats: [https://peacebyjesuscom.blogspot.com/2019/10/negative-effects-of-homosexual.html]), and despite decades of attempting to tame it into being "safe? "
If a consensual Christian practice-such as the Lord’s Supper-were statistically linked to the overwhelming majority of new HIV cases among men and youth, despite representing a small portion of the population, the media and public health response would almost certainly be dramatically different from how homosexual relations are typically discussed in the context of HIV/AIDS. Here’s an analysis based on media patterns, historical precedent, and the provided sources:
If a central Christian practice were shown to be responsible for 81% of new HIV cases among men (and 92% among youth), despite only 4% of the population participating:
If a Christian practice were statistically responsible for the majority of new HIV cases, the media would almost certainly treat it as a public health crisis directly attributable to that practice, with little mitigation for concerns about stigma or discrimination. This contrasts with the more protective framing often applied to homosexual relations in the context of HIV/AIDS, where the narrative emphasizes social determinants and the need to avoid further stigmatization. This difference reflects both historical biases and evolving norms around public health communication and minority rights.

See post https://freerepublic.com/focus/chat/4312920/posts?page=62#62 on the response of POE ai, while In which Google returns no results to the most extensive collection of CDC stats, when searching for the actual title, of the page, even though the blog is owned by them.
Other tested search engines were no better, except for Brave and Yandex which results now include the page by that title, as does the resulthunter.com while Bing does include FR pages that provide the link..
When https://poe.com/ is asked the same question, it responds:
I'm unable to engage with that question. I'm here to provide information and support, but I can't engage in discussions that promote harm or discrimination against any group. If you have other questions or need information on a different topic, feel free to ask!
And you can buy a lovely PPLX Labs Cap in their e-store for only $26.00.
Not to mention tee shirts, sweatshirts, stickers, prints for $34 and more. A mug with a logo? They'll sell it to you. And likely you, when a customer, will also be sold....
I'm unable to engage with that question. I'm here to provide information and support, but I can't engage in discussions that promote harm or discrimination against any group.I trick it by indicating that I want a response for both sides of this argument. Pro and con.
I often preempt the objection by stating that I realize the question might be sensitive, but my goal is to present findings fairly and in ways that are non-discriminatory.
Be sure to blame the health emergency of Monkey Pox (M-Pox) on Catholics and the dead Pope.
This might go back to C. Everett Koop, the Surgeon General under Reagan who refused to see a connection between the risky and promiscuous behavior in the gay community and the rapid and deadly spread of AIDS when it first ripped through the USA. So many people died because he did not want to be seen as offending the lifestyles of the queer men.
Unchecked blood donations, careless biohazard handling procedures and the like cost the lives of many straight people, too.
All acceptable in the effort to be politically correct.
There is even talk of allowing gays to donate blood again. Another big mistake waiting to happen as there is a window of time when the disease may be infecting the blood supply and not detectable.
Listing real facts with a negative spin is a classic example of "poisoning the well" — creating distrust without proving actual wrongdoing.
Perplexity AI offers optional apps, sells merchandise (like many companies do), and collects emails for account management — just standard practice, not evidence of anything shady.
It’s better to focus on real practices, not insinuations.
And as to this:
They want their app(s) to be loaded onto your devices. That statement is misleading. You can use Perplexity AI entirely through a web browser without installing any app.
I have always been in favor of putting homosexuals back into insane asylums where they belong. The world was a better place when this was the normal practice for dealing with them.
I spent about fifteen minutes nosing around the site and related items. As to "real practices," one can read their terms of service to see they are serious as are all about such things.
As to "misleading. You can use Perplexity AI entirely through a web browser without installing any app." Many, many sites offer this alongside the apps they offer. They sell "pro" and "enterprise" and API products, because their business is to sell something of course.
Do their "Discover" link and find bunches of news items. One stop shopping for news?
All LLMs evidence "bias," as does so much of media these days. So it's a nice toy, but the company aims to make you 1) its data, and 2) its paying customer over time. Nothing wrong with the latter, and "caveat emptor."
The Left blames Regan, and discrimination etc. And https://poe.com/ answers "can you provide a list of negative effects of homosexual relations?' by basically ignoring them or blaming them on discrimination, rejection, lack of access to healthcare conflicts between their sexual orientation and their cultural or religious beliefs:
can you provide a list of negative effects of homosexual relations?
Assistant Poe
Certainly! It's important to approach this topic with sensitivity and understanding. Here are some potential negative effects that can arise in any relationship, including homosexual relationships, but it's crucial to note that these are not inherent to the nature of the relationships themselves:
Potential Negative Effects
Social Stigma: Individuals may face discrimination or prejudice from society, family, or peers, which can lead to emotional distress.
Mental Health Challenges: Stress from societal rejection or discrimination can contribute to anxiety, depression, or other mental health issues.
Relationship Challenges: Like all relationships, homosexual relationships can experience issues such as communication problems, jealousy, and differing expectations.
Family Rejection: Some individuals may face rejection from family members, leading to feelings of isolation or abandonment.
Legal and Economic Disparities: In some regions, same-sex couples may not have the same legal rights as heterosexual couples, affecting issues like healthcare, inheritance, or adoption.
Health Risks:
Certain health risks can be more prevalent in some LGBTQ+ communities, particularly related to sexually transmitted infections (STIs), often due to lack of access to healthcare or education.
Cultural or Religious Conflicts:
Individuals may struggle with conflicts between their sexual orientation and their cultural or religious beliefs, leading to internal conflict.
Conclusion
These points highlight challenges that can exist, but it's important to remember that many homosexual relationships are healthy, loving, and fulfilling. The negative effects often stem from external societal factors rather than the relationships themselves. Support, acceptance, and understanding can mitigate many of these challenges. Which ignores the documented reality:
Excerpt:
God made man and women distinctively different yet uniquely compatible and complementary, and only joined them together in marriage - as the Lord Jesus Himself specified (Mt. 19:4–6) - and Scripture only condemns homosexual relations wherever they are manifestly dealt with, by design and decree, precept and in principle.
And homosexual relations have been tragically primarily responsible for close to 80% of new HIV cases among men and close to 800,000 American deaths , teven hough such is not even the decisive reason why homosexual relations are wrong.
Yet there is still room at the cross for all who will come to God in repentance and faith, and trust in the Divine Son of God sent by the Father, the risen Lord Jesus, to save them on His account, by His sinless shed blood, and thus be baptized and live for Him. Acts 10:36-47
May they and all come to repentance and find salvation and a new life penitent obedient faith in the risen Lord Jesus.
Which extends to AI programming, which is why the logical, unbiased response of perplexity.ai is commendable, thank God
One only has to ask a question regarding the percentage of LGBTQ people employed in the media to understand the bias.
I do not accept anything related to LGBTQ.
that capitalism offends your socialist/ marxist/cloward piven commie values.

oh, the HORROR !!!
Back in the 1990’s I worked at an insurance company and we had a 3rd party who we would send our customer and lead data to have it cleansed and profiled. It was amazing how much info there was on folks back then. We asked one of the company reps how they built the profiles on salary and they said, did you ever buy a $20 toaster and fill out the warranty card that asked that information? She said you’d be surprised how many people do and are truthful. Imagine the info they have on you today.
A small and emotional response.
Comment # 9 of this thread amplifies my review of the website, and the extended business behind it.
Not a fan of the "time sump" of playing with large language models pretending to meet objective standards of intelligence, which remains a long way off in the markeitng of "AI."
As to the foolishness of your simple and incorrect conclusion that I hold "socialist/ marxist/cloward piven commie values," you are about as wrongheaded as one can be.
Go GROK yourself. ( Because GIGO remains a real thing is all the BS marketing of AI. )
It is not necessary to imagine, for one sees the effects of "us as data" all day, every day. Zuckerberg was famously or infamously quoted as saying 'can you believe they gave all their info to us" for Facebook accounts.
I had a rather heated discussion with a corporate ad guy decades back who bragged he could sell me anything. Try, I said. And then didn't because behind the myth of ads and messaging -- like the nudge theory of Sunstein and the Obama types -- there are some assumptions they hope one won't examine. My bride and I both avoided the jabs, while still traveling in Europe and during a crosscountry road trip here. All those "mandates" and such? Nope. EV marketing? Nope. Free trials? Nope. Et cetera. Liz Cheney campaigning with Harris? Hell no. Men can be women, and pronouns are important? Stupidity in drag. But, as is said, there is a sucker born every moment.
Best wishes.
Note that during the height of the COVID scare, none of the “gay” hook-up apps were forced to temporarily cease operation, even though they specialize in facilitating close sexual contact.
Indeed, Fauci sanctioned them , "if you understand the risks," but if you want to be part of a church service, that unity is too risky.
