I would estimate that 99% of the people here that sit out elections because the Republican isn’t ‘pure enough’ to deserve his/her vote would agree to the above...
...and yet those same people here participate in ENABLING those Democrats to achieve power over us.
There are exceptions. But older Democrats of my acquaintance are, by and large, sane people. They put the flag out on holidays and believe in the value of hard work.
Their problem is that they still think their party is the party of Truman and JFK. That hasn’t been true for a long time. They can’t see that their party is now the party of AOC.
The cutoff seems to be around age 60.
Older Ds: Sane, but very misinformed.
Younger Ds: Insane.

How about moderate? No. That either. Kinda like saying ham-ass isn’t supported by most gazans.

My nephew’s wife fits this demographic perfectly. White, educated, professional, suburban. She refuses to come to family gatherings anymore because (These are her words) the ‘rest’ of the family all voted for that ‘disgusting, immoral’ man who is destroying democracy and immigrant families, taking away the rights of LGBTQ people and leading the country down the path to totalitarianism. And she just can’t be around people who are so filled with hate (Projecting again as the Left so often does) they would support someone like that.
She actually said that to her SIL, my niece, to her face, in a fit of pique just last week.

Today’s so-called “Democratic Party” is pure communist/globalist/socialist to the hilt. They are hellbent on destroy theis country as we know it, ans so far, have succeeded on many fronts.
They need to be called out for what they really are, and it sure as heck is NOT “democrat”. They’re godless, evil, violent, insane and will do ANYTHING to achieve power over the nation to destroy it.
Remember the Wellstone funeral? I think that's when the change first became evident among the leadership. It didn't fully filter down to the rank and file until some time during the Obama administration.
