I think it’s the Catholic church that is anti-Masonry.
Freemasonry accepts Catholics, Jews, anyone who attests to belief in a God/Supreme Being. They don’t bother with what one’s personal religion happens to be.

This. It goes back to the Knights Templar who were slaughtered by a few powerful Catholics (possibly ordered by the pope) over some purported treasure. Yet, I do know a few Roman Catholics who are Masons.
