The United States claims to be the land of the free, but freedom is impossible without individual privacy. You must be certain the government will not arbitrarily monitor you in your home or on your devices. Yet the US legal system does little to protect your privacy rights. Eight years ago, we wrote about Trump taking control of the NSA, however former President Biden also expanded the surveillance state, signing the law that renewed Section 702 in 2024(new window) (which we also covered). In general, the US surveillance state has greatly expanded its scope, under both Democratic and Republican administrations. Because of this, we’re providing a comprehensive update on how government agencies, law enforcement, and corporations infringe on your data privacy and how you can take actions to protect yourself online.

The entire CrossFire Hurricane construct was a coordinated “five eyes” assault on America. Rooting out this type European led regime change in America is what the law was written for.
What if, as we type, the legit 702s are raining all over two continents?
“However, Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s choice for the Director of National Intelligence, has already walked back her long-standing opposition to Section 702(new window). Furthermore, the intelligence community treats FISA and Section 702 in particular as “crown jewels(new window)” and has managed to secure their extension under both Democratic and Republican regimes.”
General Hayden swore in front of Congress that the NSA wasn’t spying on us. So, I don’t see what we have to be worried about.

Chuck E Schumer should be concerned
If caught, it is a foreign spy doing it for a foreign country. However, if Deep State agents tell our government departments to stand down, even these plants of evidence go unnoticed.
Five Eyes is legalized spying and subterfuge on each country for the benefit of those countries, as every country isn't allowed to do the illegal things on their own citizens.
It is analogous to Fauci paying many millions of dollars to China to create Sars-Cov-2 using gain of function. That was illegal in the US, but it wasn't illegal in China, nor was it considered illegal to pay China to do that. It was thought it would never be found out.
Five Eyes and Sars-Cov-2 were used by the Deep State to set up Trump and the world.
NSA has been collecting all electronic emissions worldwide since the 50s, including landline phone calls. Collection is one thing, finding a particular call is another, a huge task.
“I never dreamed they’d be turned on Americans and abused the way we’ve seen. Silly me.”
There is an ironclad rule of politics: “Any power or ability any government has that can be abused will be.”
He meant they were not looking for a particular domestic call/person. They collect everything; just imagine how difficult it is to find one particular call among billions of calls daily. Useless there is an overwhelming reason of national security, it is simply too expensive, too resource consuming to bother. No one is listening to your phone calls.
It means that maybe 16 year old hackers won’t be the only ones that have our information our government.
This position is a decade late and a zillion dollars short.
With this information now in the good guys’ hands we now know we have been victimized by maybe 50 million fake ss numbers.
I say let her rip!-
Do we really have any privacy? They use fisa warrants and then they seemed to gain access to anyone who was every involved in any way with the one person who was being looked at.
Every conversation passes through a Digital Signal Processor, which detects "key words in context". Anything interesting is tagged and recorded.
J6 , harassing Catholics and PTO parents, predawn FBI raids on pro lifers and Trump suporters, and putting Tulsi Gabbard on a terror watch program taught me a lot about govt respect for privacy under Biden
Sadly, Americans do not have “privacy rights”.
We should, in my opinion, and a Constitutional Amendment would accomplish that. I recommend a fresh new Amendment to do exactly that.
>> They collect everything; just imagine how difficult it is to find one particular call among billions of calls daily.
Two words: Artificial Intelligence
“However, Tulsi Gabbard, Trump’s choice for the Director of National Intelligence, has already walked back her long-standing opposition to Section 702(new window)."That's because our elected representatives on the Senate Intelligence Committee refused to approve her nomination unless she dropped her opposition.
Why do these people, who supposedly look out for our best interests, want to allow this obvious violation of our constitutional rights to continue?
Seriously, if Soros is recorded by a revamped FBI conspiring with his cadre of American DAs, can’t we then see who in DC is being called by those same DAs?
Of course, in short order search warrants could be constitutionally obtained to continue further surveillance. I fear that capability immensely but if Kash has it legally, Go for it.
I see it more as they are taking that control away from the bad guys.
AfterJ6 they were collecting data on every electronic device and transaction in DC, even those who flew into the near airports. They didnt need to know your conversation, only to pinpoint your location and movements
What they have to worry about is Edward Snowden ever being pardoned and interviewed
Other than Trump telling Elon to start arming his satellites with laser beams to annoy cat ladies pets from outer space, there’s nothing to worry about.
