Look at actors like Robert DeNiro and Ray Liotta, politicians like Bill DeBlazio and Pam Bondi, or former Tonight Show host Jay Leno for examples of mixed Italian-Northwest European people. Buffy Sainte Marie looks like none of them. Perhaps just good makeup. She should take a DNA test.

I don't think most American Indians cared at all... They're more worried about getting mistaken for an H1B..
