And remember that woman, who claimed to be black? She was supposedly a lighter skinned black woman, and had some position in the NAACP? I forget her name, but, she was exposed as a white woman.
I heard her perform, many years ago, but never knew that she claimed Indian heritage. As best I can recall, there wasn’t a very large crowd at the performance—I don’t think she was ever very famous.
