I read the headline as “ILLEGAL ALIENS ‘blow themselves up with grenades rather than risk DEPORTATION’” and I thought to myself “How great is this!?”
Then I thought “How did they get the grenades?”
Then I re-read the headline.
Granted I’ve not done a ton of research into this area, but the video I’ve seen of North Koreans in actions tends to prove much of what is listed in this article.
You see Platoons or larger numbers of NOK troops advancing across an open field only to get devasted by artillery.
I’ve also seen NOK troops getting taken out by drones and in some cases trying to fight them off using their rifles.
If you have no idea what you are getting into the NOK troops are going to perform as they’ve been trained.

I'm not on any side one way of the other on this war (except I think it's been a clear waste of OUR money from very early on), but there has been so much misinformation and plain old BS from both sides that you can't believe any of it. I'll wait until the whole fiasco is done and let it get sorted out afterwards. As Vice President Vance recently said, "I really don't care, Margaret."
Awhile back I read an article about a Western journalist who got permission to tour Pyongyang, the capital of North Korea. He, of course, had a handler who followed him every step of the way.
The journalist said the North Koreans he met were terrified of him. He found that very puzzling. He later found out that the North Koreans are told Westerners are all bloodthirsty cannibals.
Maybe that helps to explain the article’s title.

And now we see an oddball claim of NK troops conveniently blow themselves to smithereens to avoid capture - and confirmatory evidence. No doubt using the same self-demolition kits Bigfoot uses so that people can never find sasquatch remains...

Yes, multiple sources has reported much the same thing in the past several months - allegedly 12,000 were sent, with 4,000 now dead. More may be on the way, along with various artillery and radar systems.
Most of te NK troops are not on the front lines, but in the rear.
A group of NK troops attack Russian positions several times - reasons unknown - both sides suffered casualties. The language barrier may be at the root of these attacks.
