Thomas claims that every 6,500 years, a major disaster on the scale of the Biblical 'Great Flood' strikes the Earth.
That only speaks to the past. To assume that "every 6,500 years" pertains to the future is unreasonable.

Deep ice core samples show a drastic weather pattern change on Earth, with continuous periods of cooling and warming, that align with the Milankovic cycles, roughly every 10K to 12K years.
He’s a few thousand years off.
