Some offered, but were refused.
Presume it’s a favour to the Mexican government.
Drove my Chevy to the levee but the levee was dry
Them good ole boys were drinking whiskey 'n rye
And singin' this'll be the day that I die
This'll be the day that I die
“Some offered, but were refused.”
that will not go over well. Our fire fighters are way better than Mexico’s. This won’t end well in so many ways.
Will the Mexican fire trucks pass CA emission standards?
That was his answer?! Mexico?
The place looks like punishment for trannsing kids and the LGBTQ+ stuff. I know there are thousands of good people there that got caught up in the storm of fire, but looks like all the Left’s evil has come back to bite them.
Will the Mexicans have proof of vaccination for Covid?
Typical white guy in California. “Dirty job? Just get a Mexican to do it!”
link?
Will they be going back?
Did they require the mexicans to pledge allegiance to the LGBTQWERTY++—//?? group before coming in? Are they going to make them leave after the fire is out or will Trump have to deport them?
Have the badly needed 60 trucks and fire fighters from Oregon been inspected in Sacramento and made it to LA yet to help make up for the LAFD trucks that are not available to fight the fires because the not in operation because they are broken down or have been scavenged and stripped of parts to keep other fire trucks running. ?
I believe other states have been called out to assist. I have been watching the KTLA feed off and on all day, they mentioned firefighters from Washington, Oregon, Utah. I have seen in the video feed fire trucks from northern California cities. I am in San Diego county, and our local TV has stated that fire crews from our county have been sent up to LA to work the fire.
I do hope a list will be compiled listing all the agencies that have assisted to fight this fire, they deserve credit and thanks.
Also, today I watched a press conference in Pasadena, a member of the LA County Board of Supervisors was speaking. (This politician seemed much more capable and knowledgeable than the LA mayor.). She stated that since President Biden agreed to assist financially with fighting the fire, they could now afford to bring in other agencies to assist.
The first day of the fire, when the LA fire officials were publicly complaining about not having enough personnel to fight the fire, I wondered why they did not request assistance from other counties. It is commonly done with bad fires, it is called “mutual assistance”. The requesting city/county does needs to pay the expenses of the other agency. My opinion is that not bringing in additional help at the beginning of the fire contributed to the fire getting so out of hand.
I will note that Californians are very highly taxed. My opinion is that if government agencies are low on funds, it is because the government officials are mis-spending the money.
Anyone remember when Obama-Soetero let the BP oil spill and spill? Other countries offered to help? He just let it go.
“Presume it’s a favour to the Mexican government.”
You may be on to something. President Biden agreed to cover the costs of fighting the fire. Fire crews from other California counties and crews from other states
are assisting now in fighting the fire in Los Angeles. I haven’t heard of Gov. Newsom publicly thanking these US fire fighters or having his picture taken with them.
Importing Mexicans to do the job American girls can’t do.
