C'mon, don't tell me you wouldn't like some cocaine after a hard day at the office. I know some say it's a gateway drug but don't believe them.
A nice camo pattern tattooed on his face would be a nice touch. Or maybe some traditional Maori patterns.
Or maybe his neck won’t support the weight of a nose-ring.
Family infected with parasitic worms in US after eating bear meat, CDC says-Six people who ate a meal in South Dakota in 2022 with black bear meat diagnosed with trichinellosis, a parasitic zoonotic disease

They don't believe in the 2nd Amendment, and the only thing they hunt is more ballots for kamaLOL.
In Connecticut, we are only allowed to hunt bear 🐻 with a metal pan and spoon.
It works well, however.
We used to coon hunt at night with dogs. Occasionally one would fall on you when you shot them out of a tree.
More common was getting pissed on.
That’s why I don’t eat wild pigs.
Booooo
This Is worth a 120 comments!
Thanks
“According to the report, a week prior to the symptoms appearing, the patient and eight other people shared a meal that included the meat of a black bear which had been frozen for 45 days before being grilled AND SERVED RARE with vegetables that had been cooked with the meat.” (Those that only ate the veggies got sick, to.)
Yep. As I said, it’s safe if you cook it properly. We have a huge group of bear hunters and I’ve never heard of any of them getting ill from bear meat. It’s also served up quite often at any Wild Game Feed you go to around here, along with Raccoon, Rabbit, Squirrel, Elk, Venison and Bobcat. I’ve even had Mountain Lion! And Snake and Gator. I’ll eat anything that doesn’t kill me first. ;)
Wisconsin black bears must be special. :)
That’s an interesting extrapolation...
So, in your world, one has to like hunting in order to be a ‘conservative’?
Conservatives understand that and support those things even if they would not engage in them and think they are icky.
Nor do we cheer the deaths of those who do them.
That is because we are not children.
Tell me, if the man had no gun, would it have been a fair fight then?
Bears weigh, on average, 600 lbs.
Their claws look like this.
Fair fight or no?
Mairdie made herself perfectly clear - she didn’t think a treed bear should be shot. A couple of others on this thread have expressed similar.
But there are plenty of people here who are every bit as intolerant of differing ideas as any leftist is.
I see what you did there. 😉
That’s not what I said.
Your inability to understand plain English doesn’t seem conservative, either.
While I respect people’s decisions to not hunt, or to not hunt in a certain manner (traps, dogs, guns, etc.) - that line gets crossed when they are glad the person is killed or injured, or tells others they can’t hunt like that as long as it is legal. (Well, that brings up the whole thing about laws. In my state it is now illegal to use traps. Even for moles!)
Of course many of us also get a kick out of some environmental person that wants to become one with nature by feeding Grizzly bears. And then does end up “feeding” them.
Although I suppose that is more along the lines of “You went out to feed a grizzly? What did you THINK was going to happen?”
Same goes I suppose for the hunter standing under a treed bear that was getting shot.
Same could be said for me many times. I’m surprised I’m still alive with all my body parts intact. So far.
People practice exaggerated, vindictive sarcasm on this forum every day. Do you think they mean it all literally? (Compared with many remarks I’ve seen, Mairdie’s comment seemed downright mild in context.)
One person here was boasting just a couple of days ago about relentlessly *kicking* people they disagreed with - but of course, then they criticized Mairdie on this thread, suggesting that SHE is ‘childish’.
I think some FR hunters have just gotten their oxes gored. LOL!
(By the way: There are Conservatives all over the planet who don’t speak a word of English. Conservatism isn’t a monopoly of the English speaking world.)
