Food industry workers are vowing to make any officials serving in President Donald Trump’s administration feel unwelcome when they dine out in Washington D.C. restaurants.
Industry veterans, bartenders, and servers pledged to refuse service and cause other inconveniences for Trump officials.

They argue protesting Trump in the progressive city is inevitable.
Zac Hoffman, a DC restaurant veteran who is now a manager at the National Democratic Club, told the outlet: “You expect the masses to just ignore RFK eating at Le Diplomate on a Sunday morning after a few mimosas and not to throw a drink in his face?”
Bartenders and servers promised to shun certain officials or employ other small acts of “resistance” against Trump officials to take their “power back.”
“This person theoretically has the power to take away your rights, but I have the power to make you wait 20 minutes to get your entrée,” Nancy, a fine-dining bartender, said.
“There’s a lot of opportunities for us as workers to feel like we’re taking our power back, while not necessarily ruining someone’s life,” she continued.
Eh, close the letter Agencies and fire more govies, make them unemployed when there is no business left to do.

I predict a lot of restaurant closures in DC soon.
It would be nice to get a list of these restaurants that intend to punish Republicans so we can avoid them. Given that the article notes that Republicans are much, much better tippers and are lower maintenance than cheapskate, whining liberal Karens, this approach will promptly lead them to bankruptcy. Win-win.

Don’t eliminate taxes on tips in DC...double them.
That’s OK. Don’t need their restaurants. McDonalds take out window will be the new dining experience in DC because the new guy in the White House once worked there.

I was going to say, it would be a shame if rats and roaches took up residence there when the Board of Health does its inspections, but...they apparently already inhabit the place in human form.
Smart move...given that over half of the voters wanted Trump. If your restaurant can survive with 50% fewer customers, it’s a hobby for the owner, not a business.
