Putin's Closest Ally Says More Than Dozen Nuclear Weapons In Belarus

President Alexander Lukashenko of Belarus has said that more than a dozen Russian nuclear weapons have been moved to his country.

On Tuesday in post on his Telegram account, he said "I brought nuclear warheads here. Not a few dozen of them."

He continued, "Many people write: 'Oh, it's a joke, no one brought anything in.' They did. And the fact that they ... say that it's a joke means they missed it. They didn't even notice how we brought them in."

That’s why I’ve been saying that Belarus is an even bigger concern than Ukraine.

Despite appearances, Lukashenko and Putin are not that close, and Lukashenko has always been worried about the Russians taking over Belarus.

And certainly if the situation there deteriorates, the Russians would probably move in.

Used offensively, Russian nukes would ruin your day equally well, no matter where they were launched from. Speaking of which, I have been assured by two Ukraine patriots here that even a single Russian nuke being detonated (purposely or accidentally) near Ukraine would result in the automatic launch of the entire US & NATO nuclear arsenals within 2 minutes. (My guess is they didn't realize they were basically describing the "doomsday device" from Dr. Strangelove - or maybe they did realize it, and were just willing to kill everything & everybody over Ukraine! ;^)
