yes I know, every time I point this out someone says “we have our own oil”. But the fact is oil is a COMMODITY and therefore the price depends on world supplies. Sure we might still have fuel maybe…at 20 dollars a gallon unleaded regular.
More than fuel too. This country is about 85% dependent on international shipping imports. Foods, tires, cars, parts, Etc. It would cripple our nation in just a couple weeks.
