Nope, this is not a WWII situation here with a remote front. They don’t even have to go nuclear. They can take out all our satellites and navigation/coms, Set off an EMP or two... They could send us into the stone age overnight. We are NOT safe from this conflict if it continues.
This not a ballgame where you sit in the stands and root for one team or the other to win. This is a game where both teams, the fans in the stands, the whole stadium, the city where the stadium is located, and the country this city is located in can all be destroyed with just the push of a button.
If there was ever a situation that warranted a compromise and just call it a draw this is it... Who cares who wins, at least we don’t all lose...
Don’t forget the cost of fuel, Russia and NoK have about 50 attack submarines between them , in a very short time they could cripple the supertanker fleet.

yes I know, every time I point this out someone says “we have our own oil”. But the fact is oil is a COMMODITY and therefore the price depends on world supplies. Sure we might still have fuel maybe…at 20 dollars a gallon unleaded regular.
