Democrats confirmed two more Biden judicial nominees to lifetime posts Wednesday in narrow votes, in part due to the absences of Sens. Ted Cruz (R-TX) and Mike Braun (R-IN).
If the two senators had voted, the nominees would not have been cleared Wednesday because Vice President Kamala Harris would have been unavailable to break the 50-50 tie.

Braun in a known squish. Cruz I expect better.
Is Ted Cruz in Mexico again?
Well, guess again.
Sorry, but this is a deliberate way to approve these liberal judges without having to publicly vote. It is cowardly.
2 judges. Mancin joined the gop in saying no on one and Sienma voted no on the other. No telling if they would have played along had Cruz/Braun had showed up but their vote on the filibuster suggests otherwise.
What bums me out is these people taking their jobs as serious as Kamala.
He was with Vance and Trump the first time, not sure about the next day
I bet the Dems would have just “deemed” that Heels Up would break the tie. Rules who needs rules.
Cruz.....of all people.....damn SMH
republicans stay up at night to think of new ways to be useless...
why not the SC also?
Two more RAT POS to push around Americans.
Cruz missed another vote last summer that was crucial. I agree, he is doing it on purpose. It is getting very hard for the RINO”s to continue to appear to be conservative. I understand he originally did not vote for Scott as Senate Majority Leader, and was allowed to change his vote to Scott to appear more conservative. I read Marsha Blackburn did the same.
Figures. POS Cruz wins relection and goes right back to the behavior that made voting for him more difficult. People are tired of his letter writing, hand wringing, and blathering on conservative news sites, and instead want action. Yet another example of his indifference to ensuring Demonic defeat and slowing the progression of their perversion of the country...
Just have Trump DEFUND their positions. No money no job
Fine question. Because a term longer than two four-year terms of a next Obama would keep "fundamental transformation" from igniting the same damn "fundamental transformation."
Was Teddy in Cancun?
Lifetime? Didn’t Bill Clinton fire all of the “lifetime” judges appointed by Bush Sr.?
I’m confused. They may be lifetime appointments, but they can be fired by the incoming executive. At least that is what I thought.
“Principled Conservative”
